About Me

I am a qualified humanistic integrative counsellor, accredited with the Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP). I achieved my diploma after 4 years of professional training with the Cork Counselling Centre, which is held in high esteem among the counselling profession.

As an Accredited Member of IACP, I practice according to their Code of Ethics and the highest professional standards. I am involved with West Waterford Bereavement Support Group, the South-Eastern Cancer Foundation and I also facilitate personal development and training workshops.

As a humanistic integrative counsellor, I'm interested in helping you to find ways of coping and of resolving whatever problems you are currently faced with. I believe all people deserve respect and understanding and are capable of change.

As a counsellor, I will listen carefully in a non-judgemental way to what concerns you, as well as encourage you to identify and develop your own coping skills. By exploring your concerns together, you will find practical options that meet your needs and assist you in bringing greater balance and contentment in your life.

Meet Pauline Sheehan

Some interesting facts about Pauline:

- Pauline is a working mother with two teenage children, and a very stubborn dog!

- Born & raised in County Waterford, Pauline won't hear a bad word said about the Waterford Hurlers.

- Waterford's natural beauty is a great source of inspiration to Pauline. When not helping others to find peace, she can often be found looking for it herself, up in the Comeraghs, or down on the coast.
